The new series of XRP variators (XTREME RACING PARTS) differs from the previous ones for the presence of heat sinks inside the variator in the shape of a circle with protrusions between the area of the masses and that of the bushings.
The cavities of the masses are drilled so that the pressure-vacuum effect makes them act more quickly and more fluidly both when entering a higher gear and when exiting a lower gear without jumps, that is, to use the air as a dynamic fluid to help the masses emerge or be collected more quickly without increasing fuel consumption.
