Heat shield adhesive sheet to be used to insulate and protect motorcycle parts and components from the high heat emanating from the engine or exhaust.
The sheet has a modified acrylic adhesive layer which combines high repulsion strength with a high level of adhesion to low surface energy substrates.
The thin coating surface allows for a flexible and conformable application.
The applications of these sheets are innumerable, first of all the protection of electronic components (control units, sensors, telemetry, etc.), which, if exposed to high temperatures, can generate malfunctions and compromise the proper functioning of the engine, the performance of the vehicle and the parameter detection.
It is also possible to protect all plastic or fiberglass parts of fairings and bodywork from heat.
The sheets are easily shaped with a normal pair of scissors, the applications are guaranteed by the use of a special heat-resistant adhesive.
The protections can resist up to a max continuous 550°C.
